The SIGN-HUB project is creating a digital platform that will host digital grammars of 6 sign languages, an interactive digital atlas of linguistic structures of the world's sign languages, online sign language assessment instruments for education and clinical intervention and a digital archive of life narratives by elderly signers.

SIGN LANGUAGE GRAMMARS

  • Lead Partners

Meltem Kelepir, Bogaziçi Universitesi (Turkey) and Josep Quer, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain)
  • Sign Languages

German Sign Language (DGS), Italian Sign Language (LIS), Catalan Sign Language (LSC), Spanish Sign Language (LSE), Sign Language of the Netherlands (NGT) and Turkish Sign Language (TID).

  • Goal

This task aims at implementing the SignGram Blueprint (outcome of COST Action IS1006) to produce online grammars of 6 sign languages.

Atlas OF SIGN LANGUAGE STRUCTURE

  • Lead partners

Markus Steinbach and Jana Hosemann, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (Germany)

  • Goal
